We thank you for your faithfulness in prayers and giving to the work of Grace Mission as we continue to minister as God opens doors for us.

Work Team to Portageville Community Baptist Church

We had a great trip to Portageville in September and had a great time of fellowship and accomplished a lot of good work on the church.  We had 16 men, from Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, New York and Florida.  Below are some pictures of the team and the work.

The Team

House of Hope, Honduras

Continue to pray for the needs of House of Hope.  The school is progressing towards being fully operational and has building needs as they open and provide a Christian education for the children in the area.  Other needs continue: Construction around the mission property, a pickup truck to be used for the ministry, and other needs.  If you can help with any of these, designate your gift for House of Hope Honduras.

Please Keep Praying for Haiti

Latest news from Haiti is not good.  As you may have seen, as of the end of July all U.S. Embassy non-emergency personnel have been ordered to leave Haiti, and other Americans have been encouraged to leave as soon as possible.  Gangs have become stronger and more widespread.  Kidnappings are a real and common occurrence.

Bless A Child Orphanage

Please pray!!  We are still able to send funds for food for the orphanage, and just sent funds for food and to help pay for students tuition, and teachers.  We understand food costs, among other things, have gone up in Haiti and we are anticipating an increase in our support for the food program.  We have been able to provide funds for food over the past several months at the orphanage, which should improve the nutrition for the children.  Please continue to pray for all involved at Bless A Child.

                                Neighborhood Gospel Missions

Please continue to pray for us and Neighborhood Gospel Missions as we work on details of our partnership.  We have established the Grace School of Discipleship and we are working on enrolling students in the courses.

 Director’s Corner

George & Nancy Callister

We thank you for your continued prayers and support for the work of Grace Mission, and for us personally.  God is at work, and we appreciate your part in His work around the world.

In addition to the responsibilities with Grace Mission, we are still active in the ministry at First Baptist Church of Wellington, Florida, with George teaching an adult Sunday School class, a men’s ministry and weekly men’s Bible Study, and other responsibilities as associate pastor.  Nancy stays busy with ladies’ ministries, and hospitality with the Sunday School class, and trying to keep George in line.
