Churches

Grace Mission has helped 31 churches scattered around Haiti, including three on the island of La Gonave. Our goal is to have fully indigenous churches, with fully qualified pastors, working toward becoming self-supporting, but we need churches and individuals in the US who will help us provide a supplement to the pastor’ salaries, as we work toward that goal.
If you would like to help us to help church leaders with a gift of any amount, please contact the mission office through the contact page, or click on “Donate”.

Churches

We are currently reviewing church planting projects for potential involvement.  The goal of the Mission is to help churches move from the church planting stage to being self-supporting.  The goal is for a church to be self-supporting in five to seven years, with consideration being given to location and challenges related to that particular location.

As churches are added to the church planting program, their information will appear on this page, including the location of the church, and pictures of the church, pastor and church activities, as the pictures are available.

Accountability on the part of the church and pastor we are assisting is a very important part of our efforts to see churches established, growing and self-supporting.

Grace Mission’s goal is to establish the amount needed to help a church in its church planting efforts, with a schedule as follows:

Year 1-2 – 70% of the needed amount

Year 3 – Reduce to 50%

Year 4 – Reduce to 25%

Year 5 – Reduce to 15%

Year 6 – Church is on its own.

Consideration will be given to extending support based on regular evaluations.
