Our Move to Neighborhood Gospel Missions

Please pray for us (George & Nancy), as Neighborhood Gospel Missions (https://www.ngmissions.org) has asked George to take on the position of Executive Director of NGM, and we have accepted the position, and this has been approved by the Grace Mission Board.  George will continue as Executive Director of Grace Mission, and this will expand the ministry possibilities of both organizations, as we bring them together in a close partnership. This will give NGM a foreign missions aspect and expand the ministry of Grace Mission to more home missions, and a children’s emphasis ministry. Both ministries will continue with current ministries, and teams.  Please continue to pray for us and Neighborhood Gospel Missions as we work on details of our partnership.

Nancy will be involved in areas of hospitality and helping with various aspects of the ministry as opportunities are available.

As of February 14, we have moved from Florida to Neighborhood Gospel Missions in Lexington, GA, and we are in the process of unpacking and settling in.  Our new address is:

As you know, Grace Mission is a faith-based ministry, so George and Nancy are dependent on the Lord’s provision through the donors to Grace Mission for our support. This is also the case with NGM and Source of Light. We have lived by faith since we started out in missions in 1980, and the Lord has provided through you, our faithful supporters for all these years. These current changes do not change the fact that we still live by faith, trusting the Lord’s provision through His people. We thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and our ministry all these years. 

George has had opportunities, as the Lord has provided, to supplement our income with a variety of part-time, temporary jobs; as associate pastor, as well as driving school bus, operating equipment like a forklift, front end loader, pavement roller, and a delivery job, and most recently as a security guard.  Always with the understanding that the ministry and the mission take first priority.  As we have pointed out before, sometimes God provides cash, and sometimes he provides a part-time job; always God’s provision, and opportunities for ministry.  Our move to Lexington, GA, means NGM would provide us with a house and housing expenses, but does not pay a salary to the Executive Director.  We will still need your prayers and support.

Bless A Child Orphanage

Please pray!!  As you know things in Haiti are not improving.  We continue to support the orphanage and greatly appreciate your support for the children in the orphanage, as we send funds that are available.

Update: Continue to pray for the children of the orphanage.  In communication with the director, we now know they have had to move the children around to different locations to protect them; sometimes in various homes.  Please pray for their safety as they are threatened by the gang activity on a regular basis.

Director’s Corner

We thank you for your continued prayers and support for the work of Grace Mission, and for us personally.  God is at work, and we appreciate your part in His work around the world. 

We are getting settled into our new home and ministry in Georgia.  The living room, in particular, and the kitchen, have gone through a couple of rearrangements, as we try to find the best layout for everything.  We appreciate your prayers as we settle in, and follow the Lord’s leading to exciting days ahead.
