Grace Mission to The World
For we are laborers together with God. I Corinthians 3:9
January 2022
We thank you for your faithfulness in prayers and giving to the work of Grace Mission as we continue to minister as God opens doors for us.
Please Keep Praying for Haiti
I had the opportunity to meet with a Haitian pastor who is returning to Haiti, from a church planting ministry here in South Florida, to pastor a couple of churches in Cap Hatien. We would be exploring the possibility of some teams to assist the churches there, as God opens doors. Please be in prayer for this possibility.
Bless A Child Orphanage
We have been able to provide funds for food over the past several months at the orphanage, which should improve the nutrition for the children. We have also been able to help provide support for the school the children attend. Schools are opening in Haiti under very difficult circumstances. Please continue to pray for all involved at Bless A Child.
We are going to be focusing more of our resources to help the orphanage, including Project Child sponsorships, food, construction teams and possibly medical teams to provide medical care for the children. Please pray with us as we work out the details. The current situation in Haiti makes our efforts much more difficult, but the needs continue. We have been encouraged by the willingness of the leadership for the orphanage to provide full accountability for the resources we will commit to helping the children.
Living Water Ministries
Continue to pray for Living Water Ministries in Haiti. They are progressing at the school in Anse Rouge, adding vocational training and working to teach the students to be fluent in English. A water project to provide water for the region where Living Water works is in process.
Other Partnerships
- Please continue to pray for us and Neighborhood Gospel Mission as we work on details of our partnership. We would appreciate prayers as we seek to develop this partnership.
- Please pray as we anticipate an Exploratory Trip to Honduras to look at a couple of projects there. Plans right now are to go in March or April to survey several possible building projects and other ministry opportunities, including the possibility of leadership training.
- Please pray as we meet with the leadership of a group of churches in New England for a possible partnership.
- Continue to pray for the work at Egbe Medical Mission Hospital in Nigeria. If you can help with any of the needs listed below, please contact them at: https://egbehospital.org/ or Grace Mission. We can help make contact as needed. More updates will be included in the next email newsletter that we are working on now.
We had another fruitful trip to Nigeria in October. We trained, fixed, built, encouraged, prayed, sweated, and even got malaria (all better now)….all to the glory of GOD! |
We heard the story of 10 year old Dominion, who was struck by a motorbike and received a serious head injury leaving him in a coma. The surgeon removed a piece of his skull due to swelling, while nurses cared for him and everyone prayed. Some didn’t think he would live, but his mother never left his side. About 30 days later, Dominion came out of the coma! He then received physical therapy, continued to be treated and prayed for…and today he is running, playing and is back at school! Praise God!! We treat but God heals. I had the joy of meeting Dominion and his mother – seen here smiling and glad to be together. |
Please pray with us this month for the following: For $680,000 needed to complete the School of Nursing and other projects over the next year. This time of the year is when most donations are received. We still need a Missionary Maintenance Manager. The door closed for the couple thinking of coming. The Family Medicine missionary doctor and his wife who have responded to the call need someone to manage their practice so they can GO. For patients coming to the hospital to clearly hear the Gospel – especially the increasing numbers of Muslims. For the hiring of key nursing staff who play a critical role in the hospital’s ability to treat patients. Thank you for praying for this ministry so that others like Dominion can receive life saving and life changing medical attention along with the Gospel.
