Grace Mission has partnered with Living Water Ministries, http://www.livingwaterhaiti.org, to provide for some of the needs in Haiti. Currently the mission is helping with a sponsorship program for a school in the Northwest town of Anse Rouge. There are about 300 children in the school from pre-school through high school. The mission is also working on sponsorship for children in an orphanage in the Port au Prince area.
Grace Mission also is helping with providing food to children in several schools. The food comes from a partnership with the Feed My Starving Children organization http://www.fmsc.org. Through these partnerships the mission is able to provide five meals a week to the children in the sponsored school.
More information on the Project Child sponsorship program is available on the Project Child page on this website.
Sponsorship is one of the most powerful ways that you can help completely transform a child’s life—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
A top economist shares the astounding news about that little picture hanging on your refrigerator. “Overall, sponsorship makes children 27 to 40 percent more likely to complete secondary school, and 50 to 80 percent more likely to complete a university education. Child sponsorship also appears to be the great equalizer in education.”
